2. Use the up and down arrow buttons to highlight the channel you want to delete, then press the * button.
3. You'll see a message asking if you're sure you want to delete the channel. Press the OK button to confirm.
4. The channel will disappear from your home screen, and you'll never have to see it again (unless you decide to download it again).

To remove a Roku channel, all you need to do is point your remote at the channel and press the * button. This will bring up a menu with the following options: Remove channel, Add channel, Rename channel and Delete account. The Remove channel option will delete the channel from your Roku completely. The Add channel option will add the channel to your Roku, but it will still remain on your home screen. The Rename channel option lets you change the name of the channel on your Roku. The Delete account option deletes all of the channels from your Roku and deletes your account information from Roku.
Start on your Roku's home screen
To begin, locate the Home button on your Roku remote control and press it. This will take you to the Roku home screen, which should look something like this: You will want to navigate to the following menu: System > Channel Store > My Channels. Now, find the channel that you want to delete and press the Options button on your remote. (Note: If you have a Roku Streaming Stick 4K or a Roku Ultra, you can also just say "Hey Roku, delete channel [channel name]" into the voice remote.) You will then see this message: Press Delete Channel to confirm, or Cancel to keep the channel. Press Delete Channel and your channel will be removed from your Roku device!
Highlight an app
Deleting a channel is easy. From the Home screen, simply scroll over to the channel that you want to remove and press the * button on your remote. If it's right on top of your home screen, bear in mind that you don't have to delete it to get it out of your way. You could simply move the channel down instead, along with the rest of your less-frequently-used apps.Whether you want to move or delete it, though, you'll have to highlight it first. Highlight an app by pressing the A button on your remote control. The app will start shaking and a delete icon will appear in the top-left corner of the app's thumbnail. To delete it, press the * button on your remote control.
Then hit the options (*) button
When you find an app you want to remove, put the offending app squarely in your sights, then hit the options button. That's the button near the top of the remote with the asterisk (*) logo on it. When you press the options button, you'll get a channel menu. From here, select "Remove channel" and confirm your choice.
Select "Remove channel"
To remove a Roku channel from your list, select "Remove channel" from the list of options. This one is pretty self-explanatory. After you hit the options button, one of your possible selections will read ""Remove channel | Simply highlight that option with your remote, then click the confirm button | Again, if you decide that you'd rather move the channel instead, you can also do that here; just click ""Move"" instead of ""Remove."
Confirm the deletion
Deleting a Roku channel is a breeze. Just follow these simple steps: 1. Access the Roku Channel Store on your device. 2. Scroll to the channel you want to delete and select it. 3. Press the * button on your Roku remote. 4. Select ""Remove"" from the menu. 5. Your Roku will ask whether you're sure you want to remove the channel. Just click ""Remove"" one more time to confirm the deletion. The app will disappear from your home screen. You can do this with as many apps as you like, and unlike some other streaming gadgets, Roku doesn't require you to have any particular apps. You can delete Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus or any other app you like, and replace them with the most niche programming you can think of, if that's what you like to watch
Roku makes it easy to watch your favorite streaming content, but sometimes you may want to remove a channel for a variety of reasons. Whether you're no longer interested in a channel or you're having trouble with buffering, removing a Roku channel is an easy process. In just a few simple steps, you can be rid of that channel and make more room for others on your Roku's home screen.
