I set up my solar panel with my solar panel. I didn't need an adapter. I also liked how it would tell me how many watts were coming in at a time. It does take awhile to charge though. After all the discounts I got it for $29 rounded. Very good. It is moving up from a 4 year old Samsung 10000 brick. That one is now losing capacity. This new one is very nice. It is plastic though and the power button is jiggling ( no performance issues ) . It goes off on its own and comes on at button press or when exposed to light ( it wants to solar charge ) .
